EVENT SUPPORT
With you, when you need it
Live dedicated support available during events (1 hour before and 1 hour after) and technical team on standby for the school
RUN THROUGH THIS THE DAY BEFORE DOORS OPEN.
Pre-Event Checklist
BACKUPS & EQUIPMENT
1. Print the event manifest (ticket purchaser list) as close to doors opening as possible
Refunds and last-minute purchases can happen in the hours before an event. A manifest printed the day before won’t reflect them, so reprint it right before you head to the venue. HOW TO GUIDE
2. Print the event's entry QR code
For walk-ups who didn’t know they needed a ticket in advance. They can scan it on the spot to buy one instead of getting turned away. HOW TO GUIDE
3. Charge every scanning device fully
Bring charging cables and, if you can, a power strip for the check-in table since venue entrances often don’t have outlets nearby.
CONFIRM THE TECH WORKS
4. Confirm signal at the actual entrance
WiFi or cell service inside a venue can differ from the parking lot. Test from where you’ll actually be standing.
5. Confirm you've selected the right event in the app
Right event, right date, right time, especially if your venue is running more than one event that day.
6. Confirm validators have been added, can log in, and are trained on the scan guide
Check that every validator has access before doors open and that each one has walked through the simple scan guide, not just been handed it.
KNOW YOUR ESCALATION PATH
7. Post the support number at the check-in table
So whoever’s scanning can call for help without hunting for it mid-rush.
8. Know how to report an issue in real time
Log problems as they happen, not after. This keeps the record accurate and gets help moving faster.
